Today I went for my adjustment. Ortho said it's time to start pulling my front teeth back into the gaps he created. He changed my wire and added elastics to start pulling them back. He also adjusted my bottom teeth.
They were abit tight for a few days and a week later I can just about bite into my wrap at dinnertime.
Here are my teeth today, not a huge difference from the front but check out the difference from when I first got my ceramics.
God I can't believe that you are into your 16th month wearing braces. I had a slightly crooked teeth but I couldn't bear to wear braces for a long time so I went for 6 months braces. It will only correct the front row of your teeth but for me that was enough so there wasn't a problem. I opted for the ceramic braces so that the braces won't be visible from a distance.

Thank You so much Amy, means alot. Ha I still have them on nearly 24 months later. I have around 4-5 months left. I forget I have braces now. I wanted them for so long, I am just so please I have them and i'm not paranoid about my teeth anymore... Even with braces.
ReplyDeleteI looked into 6 month smiles too, they could have done something similar to you, but mine were too bad. Plus it was double the price of my fixed braces!
